Query Helper Add-In?

M

Mark Jerde

MS Access 2003 SP1.

I just opened a multi-query query for the first time in a long time. As I
was trying to figure out whether to modify this query or simply build a new
one, I realized it would be very helpful if the design view showed a few
more graphical hints. For example, it would be nice to have the option to
display the selected fields from the first table/query in a light red
background in both the field list and the design grid, the selected fields
from the second in light green, the third in yellow, and so on. This would
be a lot easier than reading the "Field" and "Table" entries in the design
grid.

Does such a thing exist?

Thanks.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your post.

From your descriptions, I understood that you would like to have an Add-In,
which will hightlight the selected fields with different color according to
different sequence in design grid. Have I understood you? Correct me if I
was wrong.

Based on my scope, unfortunately, I am afraid Access do not have such
funcationalities in design grid.

Let's wait to see whether other community members have solutions to this
kind of scenario.

Sincerely yours,

Michael Cheng
