Query from Combo Box for Report

N

Nigel

I would like to change the data selected for some graphs and reports that I
have created within access 2003, I have tried to use a combo box to change
the data selected in the query but get the following error message but only
when trying to generate the graphs
"The Microsoft Jet database Engine does not recognise 'forms!Outputs!Issue'
as a valid field name or expression. The Reports however generate without a
problem.
If I manually modify the query everything runs correctly.
I think what I need to do is to add some code to the print/preview button
(my knowledge of SQL is extremely limited) which modifies the query prior to
the graph generating but I have no idea where to start. Any help would be
greatfully received.

Many graphs have a crosstab query as their Row Source. Crosstab queries must
specify the data types of the parameters. While in design view of the Row
Source, select Query->Parameters and enter:

forms!Outputs!Issue Text (or whatever the data type)
