Queries deleted

This is my strangest encounter with Access thus far. I have a few charts and
based on some queries. Earlier this morning, between 9 and 12, I was able to
view the charts. Around 1 O'clock when I tried to view that charts, I get a
message that the record is deleted. Strangest thing is I am able to view the
query in datasheet view for a few seconds before the records are replaced
with "#NAME?" followed by the the text "record deleted".

Anyone encounter this before and is there a way to fix it?

Hopefully, I have provided enough information to go on.\

Thanks.

Joe

PS. As far as I can tell, no one has deleted anything from the database.
This is also a split data with multi-users.

If it's a split database, presumably other people have a copy of the front
end as well. Are they having the same problem?

Hi Doug,

Yes. Everyone using the db is experiencing the same problem. I have to let
you know that I found a partial fix - partial because I am not sure how the
problem happened. Here is what I found out. There was a row in the table
where all the entries had been replaced with 'deleted"#NAME?"'. I deleted
the row and everything seems to work however, I am not sure how this happened
and what caused it.

If you have any ideas as to how to prevent this corruption from happening
again, please let me know.

Thanks again for your response.

Joe
