I am having trouble with my queries losing their relationships with each
other. I can't figure out what is causing this and each time it happens I
have to open the affected query in design mode, and re-establish all the
relationships again, then correct all the field names.

Can anyone fill me in as to what might cause this?

its not too clear what your problem is. Could you provide an example ?
