Quark XP Conversion issues

I recently edited an article in Word, and at one point or another I used the
"track changes" feature. Howeverm, I never used the "accept all changes"
option, I just turned off the feature and saved the doc when I was finished.
When the designer converted the file to do the layout using QuarkXP, all
kinds of "errors" appeared in the proofs. I realized that there were all
kinds of odd duplications, and that they all occurred where I had edited the
text. In the proofs there were both the deleted and the inserted text. Has
anyone any experience with this kind of problem? And what should I do to
prevent it next time? I'm not going to use the track changes feature for one
thing. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Just make sure you accept all the changes and delete all the comments before
sending the file. "Out of sight" may be "out of mind," but it isn't "out of
document."
