Help Beta has quarantined 1500 files but are not in the
list to remove from quarantine - what do i do to get them
back?

Did you interrupt the operation of placing the files in quarantine in any
way?

If the quarantine completed properly, the only suggestion I have is to leave
the program sitting in the quarantine UI for a good long while, to see
whether the files will appear in the UI to be un-quarantined.

I don't have a good feel for what to look for--I'd think that task manager
should show some Microsoft Antispyware related process using significant CPU
during this process. If you don't see that, I think that's bad news.

These file may be basically renamed--so if they are MP3's, for example, a
utility capable of renaming the files according to title information in the
files may do the job for you.

I had the same problem. Antispyware did quarantine the
files to start, but if you look in the file called
Cleaner, you will see that the system has now deleted the
files on its own. Antispyware deleted my files the day
following the scan. My log looks like this:

6/15/2005 12:29:44 PM::Starting GIANT AS Cleaner
6/15/2005 12:29:44 PM::Running all Cleaner deletes
6/15/2005 12:29:44 PM::---Starting Quick Cleaner
DelFolders
6/15/2005 12:29:47 PM::Folder delete complete for
c:\program files\kazaa
6/15/2005 12:29:47 PM::Checking threats to clean
6/15/2005 12:29:47 PM::Ending GIANT AS Cleaner

I have tried everything to get these files back. Can't
undo, can't restore. A system restore only gets the
folders back, not the MP3's.
