I've just started getting a window on start-up with the
above message. The window says "There is no disc in the
drive. Please insert a disc into the drive
\device\hardware\harddisc\DR2". It just goes away when I
click the cancel button, but I don't know where it is
coming from....

You must have had a MOV or other QuickTime file on a removable media such as a FLASH RAM
drive or a memory card.

Open Quicktime and go to its preferences. Disable having it in the
system tray and also disable the automatic update search. Now
double-check that it isn't in your Startup with msconfig.

I pulld it out without disconnecting properly. I'll try it
tomorrow - it's way past my bedtime (03.04 here in UK)
