qdv.dll Parameters?

I am not having any success capturing video. Browsing this and other forumsI
have seen the advice to run "regsvr32%windir%\system32\QDV.dll" When I do
so, I get a reply "parameters incorrect" following
"regsvr32C:\WINNT\system32\qdv.dll" Can someone please advise how to find
more information?

I have explored and find qdv.dll in the plath the computer gives back when I
try to run the isntruction.
