Can I use qbasic on windows xp?. Is it included in xp? . If not can I use the
version from windows 98 on xp platform?. Please respond

Probably the same reason I had to take a course recently on the 8085
processor assembly language. When you learn to spell, you don't start with
whole words, you start with one letter. Once you understand the background,
the more complex structures are easier to fathom.

On the other hand, you don't start with the Sanskrit alphabet.

I recently downloaded Qbasic71.zip which I swear was from Microsoft (maybe
the MSDN site) but can't find it now.

Works fine on W2003 so if you can't get something to work I will try and
find the download again - could u email me putting [personal] including the
brackets in the subject line... just use email address from here to remind
me.
