QAT icons need to be personalized

When I add an icon (command) to my QAT, it will not allow me to modify it. I
need to modify the appearance of some to make a distinction of similar ones.
How do I get the "modify" option in customization to be active?

This is available only for your own macros, not for commands built into Word.

Conceivably, you could create a macro that calls the command you want to use, so
that you can modify the icon.
