q Win2000 subdomain DC

Hi,

Now my Win2000 server is a subdomain DC of my Win2003 DC.
But what's the benefit of adding a subdomain to a domain?
Also, how do I import user accounts from one AD to another
AD?
Any help will be appreciated.

Jason,

Generally you'll setup a child domain when you need a different NETBios name
for the domain, different password policy, or have some other business
requirement.

To move accounts between domains, get the ADMTv2 from download.microsoft.com
or your Windows 2003 CD. You want version2, not v1, as there are huge
differences in this area.
