Q: emulator, how to get rid of the setup on each reset (newbie)

I keep having to reset the emulator, and on my old 750mhz machine, it takes
forever to get through the emulator "introduction" where you have to tap and
hold, move an appointment, etc.

Is there a way to get rid of that introduction permanently, so I can reboot
the emulator more quickly?
