i tries out one of those dial up accelators,the way it
worked was that it allowee me to lower picture's quality
to make pages load faster. later i uninstalled it, but my
pics stil look bad. any ideas???

Try menu Tools|Internet Options Press the Delete Files
button in the Temporaray Internet Files section. Check
the "Delete All Offline Content" check box in the
confirmation dialog and press OK.

(may take a while)
