Putting sums on your spreadsheet

How do i add a formula to my spread sheet

to put in an amount - add 14% vat then give a sub total of that
 
hi,

if you want to add 14% vat is =a1*1.14
eg 100*1.14 = 114.00

to see the vat value =a1*1.14-a1
