Puter crashed how do i get XP back on with no disk

My comuter crashed how do i get XP back on with no disk? I have the product
code that was on side of CPU. They didn't ship a recovery disk of any type
or an XP disk. Compaq said they dont have cause computer is over 5 years old.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Find a generic OEM CD and hope your product key will work with it OR
purchase a new copy.
