Put a watermark into word email template

I'm trying to create a right aligned text watermark in an email template,
that still shows on screen to the email recipient.

I'm using a text box with vertical text, which runs down the right margin,
which is imbedded behind the document text.

The template looks and works fine on my screen, but the watermark is not
there in the recipient's received email.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks Anne, I've already tried using backgrounds, and that's why I tried
using a text box instead. There's a problem with the positioning of my text
as a picture. I want to place it vertically down the right margin, & on my
screen it looks great, but after its emailed it always appears about 3/4 of
the way across the page, no matter how I set up the position in the template.
Any ideas how I can tweak this to get it right?

Don't worry Anne, I've managed to figure out how to push the picture over to
the right a bit more by creating a lot of white space on the left of my text
picture. It works fine now. Thanks

I'm a dummy sometimes. Still problems. Is there any way to make the
background created in a Word document appear as a background in a received
email, rather than as an attached picture?

I'm trying to create a professional looking email header which mirrors the
look of our company stationery, but so far the only format which gives me
enough font options is Word. Our firm has Outlook Express at the moment and
will soon change over to Outlook. Will Outlook give us more ability to do
what I'm trying to do in Word?
