purchasing powerpoint 2000

I'm currently running a version of microsoft 2000 without powerpoint (running
in XP). I want to purchase powerpoint. What version of powerpoint should I
purchase, and where do I get it? (I only see powerpoint 2007 available for
purchase on microsoft's website)

The only version Microsoft is selling is the new version 2007. You might be
able to find 2003 in computer shops. But if you are looking for a version as
old as 2000, you might find a copy on ebay (make sure its a legal copy!).

But why not download the free trial version of Office 2007 and try that? A
lot has been added during the last seven years and you might prefer to
upgrade to the latest version.
