purchasing a Windows XP disc with the computer/

Can someone tell me...
a local store is selling off their old computers with the Windows xp
authentic disc. the problem is that whoever set the computers up didn't
write the product code on the envelope and so the discs are all mixed up and
we don't know how to determine which disc goes with which computer. the
computers have the authenticity stickers with the prod. code, but will it
matter which disc I get? I think it will but I'm not sure. I think they
bought severall because they were networked. Is there a way to figure this
out? Thanks,

As long as the key TYPE matches the disk TYPE (ie OEM or retail full or
retail upgrade) it doesn't matter - you can use any combination of disk and
key as long as the type matches....
