Punctuation check in Word

Try Tools > Options > Spelling and Grammar > Check Grammar As You Type if
you mean to have the punctuation checked while you're working.

To have grammar checked during a spelling check, check the Check Grammar
With Spelling check box on the same tab.

You can also click the Settings button and adjust space, comma, and
quotation mark options.
