pulping laptop screen

got a laptop, not very old

the screen has started to pul lately

flicker as if there is a loose connection or something, im not too confident
at messing with the internals of my laptop, anyhow anyone here be able to
diagnose the problem so i know where i should be looking for a solution?

If the laptop has provision for an external monitor, test it with one.

It is possible to have something intermittent, or a defective backplane
lamp, or defective lamp ballast transformer.
