Publishing Report to FrontPage

Meredith Hunnibell

I have an Access database with a complex report that
displays reservation data in a calendar format (so it has
7 columns with vertical and horizontal formatting lines).
I want to add this report to our FrontPage web site. (We
are NOT attempting to have the data displayed in real-
time, just to create a "snapshot" of the data
periodically.)

The only way I have been able to save this report in
another file format that PRESERVES the formatting as it
appears in Access is to save it as a Snapshot Viewer
file. (RTF, HTML, and other formats cause the report to
lose its formatting.) From what I can see, we cannot
publish a Snapshot Viewe file via Front Page. Is this
really true? If it is true, how can I go about publishing
this Access-based calendar on the web site?

Thanks!

I do it by creating an Acrobat file (PDF).

I'm keeping an eye on this thread. Would LOVE to know how to export
formatting in HTML for Access.

You can't do good HTML formatting in most cases using native Export
capabilities of Access. You can write asp code to read data from your
database or create pdf files (which is usually the easiest way).
