Help. How do I get the index page to automatically open up when someone types in the www.web address.com?

You make sure it is named according to what is required by your web host.
Ask them.

This is determined by the default home page file name configured on the web
server. The way it works is, if the file is not specified in the URL, the
web server looks for a file with the default home page file name, and if it
exists, returns that page. FrontPage detects the default home page file name
on your remote web site and when you publish it will rename your home page
to that file name.
