Could someone please point me to a good online tutorial covering publishing a
discussion page? I can create one easily enough through FP2002 wizzard, but
when I go to publish, there are hidden folders created (the ones with the
leading underscore in the name) and they don't show up during the publishing.
What do you mean they don't show up during publishing?
Tools Web/Site Settings Advanced - show hidden folders
to see _hidden folders
If your host supports subwebs (many don't) it is highly recommended you create the DW as a subweb and you must publish to a server
running the FP SE

I was just about to say - "gee, don't you think I've thought of that," when I
checked and that function wan not enabled! I could have sworn I checked that
little box... one of my "senior moments" I guess.
