For some reason i do not have microsoft publisher on my
comp and i don't have the disk is there a download on
this site that i can get it from

You realize this is newsgroups for xp,publisher is an
office program.You cant download it,you can purchase it
or get a publisher demo cd at microsoft.com,good for
30 days.

Publisher is an application which is available as a
stand-alone product or as part of some versions of OFFICE.
There are no legal downloads, if you want to install
Publisher you must buy it.

Publisher uses its own file formats and Publisher 2000 can't
read files created and saved as Publisher 2002/XP. You need
the latest version to be able to use any Publisher file.
Late versions can save files using prior formats so other
users can use their older software, although some features
will not carry forward.

Microsoft Publisher is available where ever fine software is sold.
It's not available, legitimately, for downloading; you have to buy it.
