I need to publish reports without requiring the recipient
to have Access, and want the reports to have formatting as
designed in Access.

Both (a) Tools/Office Links/"Publish It with MS Word" and
(b) File/SaveAs/ (.rtf) don't convert some of the features
that make the report attractive are missing, like LINES
and BORDERS and some LABELS.

Suggestions?
Thanks.

Thanks! This will work if I can get the recipients to
download Snapshot Viewer also.

Output your reports to PDF files. You can find numerous in expensive PDF
printer drivers on the web (Win2PDF at www.daneprairie.com, pdfFactory at
www.fineprint.com, Virtual PDF printer at www.Go2PDF.com etc.)

PDF readers are pretty ubiquitous these days and so the user's don't have to
download the reader if you send them a PDF file.

Steve, thanks for replying. I don't have PDF as a choice
under File/SaveAs/. I'll try reinstalling Access with
more features.

Adobe Acrobat installs as a printer, so shows up in the Print dialogs, not
in File | SaveAs. I have not used any of the other PDF-generators, but would
expect them to work similarly.

There are even some freeware PDF-generators, as well as commercial and
shareware ones, if I recall what I've read here.

My copy of Acrobat is multiple versions out of date, but it works like a
charm, and does everything I want it to do.
