Public task folder

I have a public folder that has tasks that need to be assigned to multiple
employees. Outlook is telling me that it cannot assign public tasks. Do you
know of any way this can be done without having to depend on th employee to
copy the task to their personal task folder.

No. Your choices are to assign them from your personal tasks folder, rely on
the employee to copy them to his, create a tasks mailbox and assign them
from the mailbox, or emailing the tasks to the employee they are being
assigned to (right click, forward). Each method has limitations... most
noticeable is the lack of tracking if you keep them in PF, or ease of access
if you use a tasks mailbox.
