public folders

Hi guys,
just got a peer-peer network and a network runnin through a switch (no
server), just wanting to know if there was anyway that u can share outlook
folders in this situation (without exchange server) i dont REALLY wanna
setup a server PC but if its the easiest way ill assemble an old 1.8ghz or
something.... is it possible to do this with 3rd party software?, if so
is it free?

I don't know of anything free that lets 2 or more people using Outlook open
the same pst file simultaneously and share data.
