Download Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com update ir and perform a scan.

There a program in my Windows folder called ptcore.exe that is attempting
to
access the internet during start up and Zone Alarm alerts me.

This has been happing since the last fewdays and I cant get much
information
about this program even on google.
Also tried searching through google groups but I had <a

the key name "ijrbbpd" is pretty much a giveaway that it's malware at best.

Copy the key information and delete the key, and restart. You may find
that the key or an equivalent is re-added by whatever is running.

I've been finding that some trojans mark themselves as hidden, system,
read-only files. I've had to use dir /ah to find them, and attrib -s -h -r
to be able to get at them. Look particularly in the windows and system32
folders, but you will also find some in the temporary folders.

Also use ccleaner.exe, Hijack This and CWShredder to chase down what's in
your system. Note that in Hijack This, after you tell it to delete
entries, re-scan. Some running malware will promptly re-add their entries.
