.PST

Hi,

Okay, here's the problem. I was working in Outlook 2000 at work when all of
a sudden it froze. I rebooted and when it came back my Personal Folder and
the directories under it were MISSING! I called our tech gal and she said my
..PST (which is 1.75 Gigabytes and was stored on my hard drive) was not
opening. It could be corrupted. She ran it through a repair utility, but it
still didn't work. We even did a re-install of Outlook by taking an image of
another hard disk and copying it my hard drive.

I did have another .PST file, which was last used/saved in July of 2003. I
need to access my original .PST or else I will loose all of my
emails/contacts from Aug. 03 - Sept. 04. Any help, ideas, or program on how
to restore a .PST file would be greatly appreciated.

I have faith in our IT person, but I thought I would give it a college try
and of course pray that someone has a solution!

Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Regards,

Grannie

A PST of the size you describe is highly susceptible to corruption and it
could be you'll get nothing from it. You should never allow an Outlook
97/98/2000/2002 PST to exceed more than 1 to 1.2 Gb. Outlook 2003 PSTs, on
the other hand can be upwards of 20 Gb (up to 4 Tb).

You might find the method here may help:
