PST sync

I have a very small office and would like to have the data files (mainly the
address book and calendar) shared between a minimum of two and max of four
computers over our lan. Is there a way, that is, short of an exchange
server, of accomplishing this in near real time? I have an awful time
backing up the PST of our main computer and importing into my boss' computer.
Surely there is a script or something that would suit our needs..... as it
seems, our very small business structure isn't supported! Any help would be
greatly appreciated!
