.pst Files

David

All of a sudden Outlook stopped recognizing a .pst personal folder. I
stopped pointing to it and tried to point to it again (Tools-->Email
Accounts-->New Outlook Data Files-->Select .pst) and I get a message that the
file "is not a personal folders file." I haven't had any problems with it
before. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.

What did you do just before "all of a sudden"? The error message you see
indicates that the PST has been corrupted by some action or occurrence on your
PC. What was it?

You may have to invest in a commercial PST recovery tool. Start here:

Depends on how you broke it. Outlook didn't do this all by itself. There's
more to your story that you need to tell us than "All of a sudden..."
