Hi,

I am using Outlook 97. I found that the pst file is very closely reached the
2GB size.

I deleted the some files in the Outlook 97 but i found that the size is no
changed until I carried out the compression.

Now I need to create new profile to save new emails.

I want to know that the size limitation is whether or not still happen in
the Outlook 2003, Outlook 2002 (XP).

Furthermore, anyone know that Outlook 97'size limitation is or not fixed.

Any information or hints is provided. I am very appreciated.

Thanks
Jimmy

OL2003, has no such size limit, for a pst in OL2003 format
All earlier versions of OL have a limit of 2gb, though problems can occur
when greater than 1.6gb
I would suggest either archiving, or create a new pst and copy msgs to this,
to reduce the size of origonal.
You have to compact to see any reduction.
You can have multiple pst's open, in OL, though there may be a performance
hit.
