Proxomitron, W2K SP4, Atguard problem and workaround

I recently went to Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and found that Proxomitron works
unreliably when Atguard is enabled. Not altogether surprising given that Atguard
hasn't been updated in 4 years, but still annoying never the less.

The workaround in this case is to insulate Proxomitron from direct interaction
with Atguard by piping its requests through another free proxy called Bfilter
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/bfilter)

I don't use Proxomitron, but I did have numerous reliability problems
after installing Service Pack 4 (with AtGuard installed). If you find
out that this is a general problem, and not just Proxomitron, I'd like
to hear about it (I'm trying to determine if the SP4 problem is just
my machine or if it's something more general).
