Hi,
I have a workbook that has each worksheet password-
protected, and as such does not allow me to use the
Auditing tools amongst others.
In my attempt to get round this, my plan was to copy each
individual sheet to a new workbook, naming each sheet in
the new workbook the same as in the original.
Then, I was going to use find and replace to replace the
original file name for any links to other sheets, so that
all the formulae would then refer to sheets within this
workbook rather than still refering to the original
workbook.
However, I didn't bargain for the second apostrophe symbol
at the end of each reference, which I cannot use find and
replace to get rid off.
Is there a better way of getting rid of the protection in
Excel (I remember someone saying that Excel is not very
secure)?
Or is there a macro which I could write which would remove
the file (or workbook) name from within the formulas?
Many Thanks for your help,
Steve.
