I am new to Frontpage and I would like to find out how to
protect my photographs so that people can't copy them
from my site.

Can't. What some people do is only publish smaller versions, or
versions with watermarks on them, or something. A picture on a web site
is a picture. Can be copied.

The only way (other than locking them in your home safe) is to use the smallest possible graphics that still looks good on your site, but res. so low that it would be unusable for snag and print - and watermark them if needed.

Take a look at pro stock photo sites to give you an idea...like Corbis.
