Protection in a Word Doc

I need to protect a word document but I only need to protect certain fields
not the whole sheet. For example I have a template of questions that I do not
want anyone to change, but I would like them to be able to Enter answers in
the template. Kind of like the way Adobe works. Is it possible to protect a
word doc in this way?

Yes, it is possible to do what you want by creating a protected form. See
