Protected Forms and Spellcheck Macro

I recently got Word 2007, I need to create some new protected forms and I
need to also create a spellcheck macro. In Office 2003 I had a toolbar with
the macro assigned to it. When I shared this with others - the toolbar
appeared and the macro button was available.

What is the best method to create a protected template and a spellcheck
macro in Word 2007 - this is a template I email to others.

This appears to be an extension from another thread?
If you are creating protected forms in Word 2007 add the button to the QAT
of the template. Provided your other users are all using 2007, the button
will then appear on the QAT when the template is used.

I couple additional questions - does my template need to be saved in the Word
2007 format .dotx?

I did add it to the QAT and sent it to another user and the button did not
show up - what is the appropriate method for adding it so it will display
when the template is in use?

If it is for Word 2007 use only and contains macros, it will have to be dotm
format.
If it is for earlier versions, it will need to be dot format, but then you
will be back where you started without the toolbar. If you have access to
Word 2003, I would recommend that you make forms for both versions that are
to contain macros and a toolbar with 2003 - see
