protect document

Raf

I cannot protect a Word document.
I select Editing restrictions Filling Forms but Start enforcement does not
work. So I cannot protect my word document
 
Turn off Design Mode (which is automatically enabled if you added ActiveX
controls to your document). For detailed instructions, tell us your version
of Word.

On the Control Toolbox toolbar, click Design Mode to turn it off.

Also, make sure *not* to add any controls from the Control Toolbox (these
are ActiveX controls) to your document. Instead, make use of the form fields
found on the Forms toolbar.
