Pros and Cons of Data Access Pages

I would like to know what are the pros and cons to using DAP's? Also, what
are the limitations of DAP's.

The cons and limitations of DAP's are numerous, the pros are few.

There is a newsgroup about DAP's: m.p.a.dataaccess.pages. By using Google,
you can look for previous posts and learn more about the advantages and
disadvantages of DAP's:

My advice: forget about DAP's and go with ASP.NET or anything else.

Probably the biggest limitation of DAP is that they are unlikely to
have any new functionality added in the future. Also I think each
user has to have an Office license.
