property window

This is probably something *really* simple... (That I just seem to be *missing*
)

When I open my db, I have code which normally runs immediately. And this code
displays a progress bar. Occasionally when I open my db the property window is
showing. This occured again this morning. I know I was working on a form.

Do I need to close the property window before exiting design view? Is it
something else I'm doing, or maybe *not* doing?

Tom,
With Access 2K and above you are allowed to see the properties box on
Form view as well as Design view.
You can get rid of it by selecting Design View Only in the form's Allow
Design Changes property.
