Yesterday, I accidentally uninstalled an audio program because I clicked a
name from the list of installed programs not realizing that just clicking it
would start an uninstall without the usual "are you sure you want to
uninstall" prompt I was used to in XP. I'm in a mess now because I went to do
a system restore to restore the accidentally deleted program only to find out
that no automatic restore points are being created--wonderful! So I have two
questions--does Vista have an option so that you will be prompted for an
uninstall? Why aren't automatic restore points being created? The program
thatwas uninstalled was Conextant Audio (or something like that--I madly
jotted down a name before it was gone forever). All help greatly appreciated.
