Promise Ultra100 TX1 and WinXp

I installed a Promise Ultra 100 PCI controller card on a system that
hase WinXP Pro. Already have 2 hard drives installed as master/slave
on the motherboard IDE channel and two Optical drives ont he other IDE
channel. During Bootup The PC sees the Promise controller and
continues bootup (ignoring the Promise card because no hard drives are
connected to it yet). XP eventually just reboots itself just before
it gets to the user/password screeen. If I connect the new hard
drives (two WD 120GB SE Drives set to master/slave) the controller
card finds the new drives ok, and XP will get as far as the sign in
screen but when I enter my password XP keeps telling me that is is the
wrong passwrod (the hint screen works and shows my hint that relates
to the password). Any ideas on how I can get the Promise card working
?

Thanks, TJ

Nevermind I went over the hardware installation again and found
out the Controller Card was not seated all the way in. My error.
Sorry to bother ya.
