projection of text in power point

My text is not appearing as bold and crisp as I would like. Sometimes it
seems half of the letters is disappearing. I have tried Arial, Arial Bold,
Roman...nothing seems to improve the quality of the projection on the screen.
Any ideas to make text project better?

you may have too much dark together. try increasing the amount of contrast
between your text and the background. i.e. light text on dark background or
vice-versa.

I have tried that too.

Does the resolution of your projector match the resolution of your
computer? An exact match will usually serve you better.

Are you using a laptop?

do you have "cleartype" turned on?

probably best to turn of cleartype and just leave the regular font
smoothing on.

Are you animating the text?

This is happening to me as well. The distorted text is not on all of the
slides and it only appears distorted when I run the slide show on the
computer (not a projector). The text is animated, but so is the text that
looks smooth on the slideshow.
