Project takes forever to load

Hi
Just wondering if anyone knows why my project takes
forever to load. I have approximately 50 pictures on the
timeline or 5 mins worth of info. My computer is a amd
athlon processor with 40 mbs ,855 mhz and 256 ram. Will
this slow loading affect my burning of the cd?
Also is there an easier way of finding someting in the
forum as opposed to scrolling down and checking each
entry. Something like a search? The search on the screen
does not really find what I key in.

Hi Diane,

If it's just a slowness issue, you might just need a hard drive tune-up.
Free up space and do a defrag.

If it can do it at all, it should work fine through the process of burning a
CD. Try the whole process with a small test file if your 5 minute project
takes too long.
