Programs Shutting on Their Own

Hi every1

I have the bizarrest problem - I have a user on my network with a windowsXP
PC and she insists that programs and files keep closing themselves!

I am aware that you can close a group but that requires the user to do some
clicking, this just seems to be happening at random & it is only programs
not the OS itself! The most worrying aspect is the user is not stupid and
quite computer literate.

Have any1 come accross this behaviour b4?

Have you witnessed this yourself?
Have you looked in the workstation event logs?
 
Hi there,
We had a virus hit our network called WORM_SDBOT.FO. I
didn't know about it until a user on an unprotected
machine told me the exact same thing you are describing.
The programs would close and her network connections would
stop.

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but wanted to drop
that note to you.
