my computer. We have recently upgraded from Windows 98
and am now using 2000 Pro. I don't know which processess I
can cancel and which to leave running. Any suggestions?

- CSRSS.EXE
- WINLOGON.EXE
- SERVICES.EXE
- LSASS.EXE
- EXPLORER.EXE

- SVCHOST.EXE
- REGSVC.EXE
- MSTASK.EXE

Posting a static list is dangerous, because every system runs
its own set of software, utilities etc.

By the way, MSTASK, NWTRAY and IEXPLORER
aren't required processes.
