Just noticed among the myriad of things running in Task Mgr at Start-Up
are Winamp (MP3 player -- file: winampa.exe), Acrobat (I think?) -->
AcroRd32.exe), Netscape (netscape.exe) and Direct CD (CD burning program
-- file: DIRECTCD.exe). I don't see why these need to be running at
start-up since I don't often use Acrobat (if that's what it is, in
fact), listen to music or burn CDs.
I do use Netscape all the time, but should it be running at system
start-up? If not, how do I keep these from starting?
Thanx, Herb
