programs quit

I have a wacky problem with my Toshiba Laptop running XP
home edition and internet explorer 6.0. I have comcast
internet and when I'm in mail and do most anything, the
window will close. It sometimes takes 5 tries to compose
an e-mail. also I now can't launch some programs like
Flight Simulator. While going through web sites, the
window will randomally close. Any ideas how to solve this?

Have you run an Anti Virus scan on your machine lately? Also run a
program that will find and remove malware, spyware, etc. Sounds like
you may have a virus.
