Hi,

You can check your Start menu's startup folder

Start - > All Programs -> Startup

Check what programs are in that directory as they're the ones that are
loaded at startup.
As well you if you want to see all of the programs that are being loaded at
startup go open msconfig.
To do this go to Start -> Run and then type in msconfig and then hit OK

Then the System Configuration Utility will pop up and then click on the
Startup tab and you'll be able to see all the programs being loaded.

Hey there. I've got two solutions.
1. Go to start button, all programs, and look for a STARTUP folder.
Anything lsited here automatically starts upon boot. Delete what you like,
you're not actually deleting the program, just the autostart feature.
2. Go to start button, RUN, type MSCONFIG, go to the startup tab. Any
listed item that is checked automatically starts. Uncheck whatever you dont
want to autostart.

there are other ways to disable programs from within the registry, but i
dont think you want to playing around in there. also, only disable things
that your are certain shouldn't be running, or have no business
automatically starting up, like realplayer or AOL, ha! many of the items
listed should be left alone. i leave it at your discretion.

TIP: If you're wondering what any of the items actually do, what programs
they are related to, or if they are even necessary, do a google search of
the startup item name and the word startup or greatis.

On each program you don't want to start automatically, check its
Options to see if it has the choice not to start. Many can easily
and best be stopped that way. If that doesn't work, run MSCONFIG
from the Start | Run line, and on the Startup tab, uncheck the
programs you don't want to start automatically.
