Programs Installing

I am running Vista Beta 2 and it all of sudden won't allow programs to
install. Seems the installer program is missing or is it part of the Vista
now and you just can't see it as a seperate program. The program downloads
from the net, then it blinks a few times then nothing. Is anyone else having
the same problem?
